Did the Devil make you do that?
Is There a Devil among us? 4 18 21
Text: Galatians 5:5-12
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
Let us Pray
Introduction: We have all heard the phrase: “The Devil made me do it!” How many times over the years have you had a decision to make and someone gives you advice, which sounds really good at the time, but later turns out to be disastrous.
There are two biblical reasons why this happens:
1. God arranges it for his will and plan
2. Satan speaks through someone who has opened a door!
Oh my friends, What wonderful services we are having, don't miss the start of the Commandments of Christ this Wednesday at 6pm, a free copy of my book to each person who comes! This Saturday we are having Choir Practice at 3pm and of Course, I hope you don't let the Devil make you stay home this Sunday!
Love you All,
Pastor Mark
