Do you Feel Left Out?

Do you ever Feel Excluded in this World?

Text: Galatians 4:17-20

17 They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.

18 But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you.

19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.

Have you ever felt that you were just not a part of the club? I spent twenty years in service and because of my education, many of my friends were officers, but it was hard for us to fellowship with them outside of Church because there was a policy of not fraternizing with enlisted. We were brothers and sisters in Christ but could not completely bond as we wanted to. The other side of that is in the World, if you do not drink with them, party with them and share the same enthusiasm for activities that they do, you are O.U. T. Out! They exclude you hoping that peer pressure will move you to their way of thinking. As teens, the pressure to fit in and to be one of a group of people, to feel accepted has caused many young people to join gangs and to do things they would not normally do.

Never before in my lifetime has the Church felt the pressure of Exclusion as we do right now. Society has been taken over by the Evil one. Gay Marriage, Transgender issues, legalization of drugs, defunding of Law Enforcement, are all areas where society has laid down a gauntlet, either join us or we will punish you and oh by the way, you are O. U. T. Out!

Paul was dealing with this in the Galatian Churches as well. People were trying to effect the Church into doing things their way by excluding them if they did not. This Morning I want us to see What Jesus Said about this World and why we can affect the World right back, not by exclusion or peer pressure, but by showing them a better way, the Love of The Gospel of Jesus Christ!

1. Do You Feel Excluded and persecuted by this World?

2. Do you feel a part of the Family of God when you attend Church?

3. Do you invite your Worldly friends to become a part of the Family of God at Church?

This morning we will see that Jesus told us that when we became Christians and followed Him, that the World would treat us differently.

Oh if you missed this past week, what a blessing you missed! We are on a very fast Pace to Easter Sunday and It is my hope and prayer that the Church is reading these introductions to Sundays Sermons and praying for a full house and a Blessing! Remember this Church, Do you want your friends to be left out or just left behind! Jesus is coming soon! Are you and your family and friends ready?

It is my Joy to be your Pastor!
