The Battle for your Heart!

Psalm 19:7-14

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Many of us have traveled to see great battlefields, Franklin, Gettysburg, Pearl Harbor, London, Berlin, the English Channel, all of these places have I been to where men fell on both sides of the battle. Where Men and Women overcame great odds and were victorious, where others fell to bombs that hit them while they were sleeping, they never knew what hit them. War is a terrible thing and yet the Bible tells us there will be wars and rumors of war until Jesus returns. Why is that? There is a war on the Earth, Good and Godly people are at war with those who are evil and follow their father the Devil. And behind this backdrop of bloodshed, there is a spiritual battle going on as well. David unlocks the Key to Victory in this second part of Psalm 19:

God’s Law is Complete, It will make a believer out of you

Knowing what God can do, God’s Testimony can make the simple wise.

This Morning let us explore the Battle for your Heart and Mine that is going on each and every day, using the Key of David from Psalm 19 to open the door to Spiritual vision and healing this morning. Satan knows your heart is a new creation and that Jesus has entered in. So the Devil is attempting to make sure you do not open your heart to any new areas of the Masters control!
