Who's in Charge?
Psalm 2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Have you ever been in a place of business and had such a terrible experience, that you had to ask someone "Who is in Charge?" Psalm 2 will help us address the Illusion of Control that so many try to live under, not realizing that God is in Control!
Sunday was Amazing, Sunday School was began on FM Radio, Leetha did a great job reading that lesson for those in the parking lot or in the Fellowship hall, in fact, it was being broadcast throughout the church!new members Alice and Tim Dunn joined, I hope everyone will welcome them home as they were members before and left for a time, but they have come home for Good according to them! I also want to thank Brother David, who is very quiet and many people have no idea what a help he is to our Church, but he helped our other Brother David in cutting down a very large tree which fell on the fence of our neighbor's property! A lot of work went into that and if you see them, tell them both, well done!
This coming Wednesday night we have business meeting inside, I am not sure how we can get votes with honks, but we will try! and then of course, we will continue our Study of Mark 10 and have prayer time!
It has been such a honor to be your Pastor and know that my prayers are with you until we meet again!
Love you all,
Pastor Mark
